Our Mission
To empower individuals with accessibility needs in their travel experiences by providing comprehensive and reliable information through our app. We strive to make travel-planning easier and more reliable for all those who seek inclusive and accessible travel options.
May 24, 2023
Mapable was founded in Copenhagen as part of a study abroad focused on Innovation and Entrepreneurship by George Mitrev, Ceridwen Grady, and Josh Nixon
May, June, and July 2023
Mapable was in its early incubation and developing its product and strategy while talking to various VC’s ending with our final presentation to Danish Venture Capital firms in a non-risk pitch to resounding success
January 2024
We won our first startup competition at Olin’s Big Idea Bounce and had our first $1000 to our name
February 25, 2024
Upon return to the US and our home universities, we determined the viability of our project and we established an LLC for Mapable
At the same time, Mapable was selected for Washington University St. Louis’ League, receiving funding and honing our skills and refining our product.
April 2024
We were also one of two winners of Skandalaris Venture Competition’s Innovation Category alongside another win at Olin’s Big Idea Bounce.
September 25 2024
Finally launched on the app store!
