Position: Software Developer Intern (Android)

What You’ll Do:

As a Software Developer Intern (Android), you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our Android app, ensuring it is user-friendly, robust, and inclusive. You will collaborate with a passionate team to build innovative solutions that empower people with accessibility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android application features using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Collaborate with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues independently.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Work with cloud services like Firebase, Google APIs, or other backend solutions to integrate app features.

• Test app functionality and ensure compatibility with multiple devices and accessibility tools.

• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and development best practices.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Android development tools, including Android Studio, Kotlin, and/or Java.

• Basic understanding of web development and cloud services.

• Experience or interest in iOS mobile development is a plus.

• Familiarity with Firebase, Google APIs, or other cloud platforms is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Passion for building user-friendly, inclusive technology with a focus on accessibility.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Capacity to take initiative, seek feedback, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
